i7-5775C & Core i5-5675C Broadwell processors to be released in mid May

I guess this is what happens when there's no competition... That i7 5775c seems like a big step back from my i7 4790k... And it's the same price... Unless there's something we don't know, this looks like a dud..

Here is hoping it can OC well.

These actually look like cpu's to compete with AMD's APU's as thay have embedded Iris Pro Graphcis -and there still LGA 1150 cpu's- thay dont look to be enthusiast or gameing grade.

I guess if you put it that way, it makes a little sense... IF it's going to be cheap... but it's not. lol

Iris Pro is also linked via an L4 cache so yes, you do loose 2MB of L3 and some clock speed but you gain a massive parallel coprocessor that is better integrated than HD

nothing is ever cheap from intel lol

You can get a Q6600 for $20... LOL

I'm actually glad to see Iris Pro make it to the desktop!

Yeah Iris Pro would be quite interesting on the desktop platform.

But damnit Intel, why did you have to change your lettering.
