Does anybody have a stable 4.5 overclock for the i7 3770k? I want to push my cpu up but i dont know how much voltage i should use for the clock speed.
Thanks

Each chip is different. Use what works for yours.
I can do 4.5gHz around 1.2V on my 3770k, but 4.6gHz takes 1.3V for a full stable P95 run.
thanks man ill try it out
If i may add a question, I have a 3770k with 4.4ghz overclock, but i can't get a stable overclock under 1.25 volts is this normal. also with my h80i I am getting core 3 always 5-8 degrees hotter than core 0-1.
If im corret every processor has at least one core that runs hotter than others
Hello! That is normal on most CPUs. The temperature difference can be caused by uneven mounting of the IHS to the CPU die itself. It is common on most CPU and is normal.
As for the overclocking, every CPU is different. Some overclock very well, some don't. Intel does not gaurantee overclocking performance and any damage caused by overclocking because you are running the CPU out of specifications.

I can do 4.5 on 1.25v
4.2Ghz 1volt
4.4Ghz 1.125volts
4.5Ghz 1.2volts
That's all on air cooling as well. As stated already every chip is different.
Insanity. Across all cores?
Yep all four cores active, the hottest core seems to peak at about 64 degrees celsius using prime95 and it ran for 3 or 4 lots of 10-15 hours so it's stable.
Honestly though because my GPU is only a 7770 I only run the CPU at 4.2Ghz @ 1 volt daily, any higher doesn't yield any benefit really until I get a better graphics card.
that's a unicorn chip.
Yeah I've been lucky I guess, every other CPU I have ever purchased has been a horrible overclocker.
