Alright well first let me say welcome to the PC community. You'll like it here.
Let me just clarify some things that you may be confused about as you're new.
The 3770k isn't a Haswell part it is the last generation IvyBridge part. That is important as they perform differently, however minor that is, and use a different socket (Haswell is LGA 1150 and IvyBridge is LGA 1155) and require different motherboards and chipsets.
What are you going to be doing with this rig? Just gaming? If that is the case then you do not need a 4770/3770 i7. The 4670k i5 will do just as good of a job. The Xeon 1230V3 is also a good choice. It is an i7-4770 without an iGPU and much cheaper. It can't be OCed though.
Also be sure to check out the AMD 8350/8320. They are cheaper than the i7s and i5s and are nearly as fast as the i7 and can be OCed. They also are great for rendering too. However they suffer in poorly optimized titles like DayZ/ARMA engine games.
I'm going to recommend what I'd do.
Case: Fractal Design Define R4. I like this case better. It is a little cheaper and very quiet while still maintaining good airflow.
CPU: i7-4770k if you want the best for gaming and video editing/productivity and want to OC. i5-4670k for gaming and OCing. Xeon 1230V3 for gaming and editing but no OCing. AMD FX-8350 for gaming, editing and OCing. Cheapest.
Mobo: Intel OCing- Asus Z97-A. Intel no OCing: any decent B or H 87/85 board will work well. The ASRock B85 Fatality Killer is a good board. AMD: Asus M5A99FX Pro/EVO.
RAM: 8GB of whatever is cheapest. The Corsair RAM is incredibly overpriced and doesn't give you any performance benefit.
GPU: That is a good choice as are the ASUS 760s. Look at the R9 270s as well. Tiny bit slower but are much cheaper. You can also find incredibly good deals on the Radeon 7950s which will stomp both of those cards.
PSU: The CX series is decent but there are better options out there. I'm a fan of the RM series.
HDD: The Blue is a great drive but you may want to get an SSD as well. The Samsung 840 Evo is an incredibly good drive and it will really help performance, especially boot times.
OS: I'd go with Windows 8.1. It is more secure, newer and faster. With StarIsBack it is almost like Windows 7.
CPU Cooler: I'd go with the Noctua NH-U14S. Is is very quiet and is as good as a closed loop water cooler.
You really don't need more fans. The case comes with them and they are sufficient.
You don't need an optical drive.
Get an internal PCIE wifi card. They are better and don't take up desk space. The Intel b/g/n/ac one is excellent and is around $40.
A sound card would fit but you don't need one. They don't do much and the audio on the motherboards is very good.
