I was dumb enough to buy a gtx 550ti

Im wondering what would be the best route for increased graphical performance:

1)  Find a second gtx 550 ti on ebay and run in SLI.

2)  Sell it, cut my losses and go for a gtx 660 Ti.

I plan on using this system for both photo editing (large 10,000 by 10,000 med format images) Autodesk Inventor use as well as gamming.

My setup at this moment:

Processor: AMD Phenom X4 9550

Motherboard: Jetway HA07-ULTRA

Ram: 5gb mix and match miracle

Power: Antec Earthwatts 650

My setup when I can finaly find some money:

Proccesor: AMD FX-8350 4.0 GHz

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s

Ram: G.SKILL Sniper Gaming Series 16GB (2X8) DDR3 1866

Power: Antec Earthwatts 650 (as long as it does not catch fire or blow up my money)

Im in a similar dilemma but with AMD and im trying to sell my 2 6870s and upgrade to an msi7950 for the extra power 1gb ddr5 just doesnt seem like enough anymore so i would recomend upgrading to a newer series.

I cant say much about SLI but im very happy with crossfire i just need the extra slots on the mobo for other things so keep that in mind if you go SLI. I was pushing 600watts with my crossfire too so if you go that route i would say you might need a new powersupply too.

I would sell it and go buy an AMD Radeon HD 7870 XT. It's an exceptionally good card for the money.
