Ghetto but cool!

I suggest looking into Wireguard rather than OpenVPN, it’s much, much faster.

Yeah good suggestion. Its only as I find OpenVPN familiar, works with my devices well and I dont require a lot of speed when away. Its only music and other media, no heavy data. Else I would look into it.

And yeah, mega ghetto XD The best way.

It’s not just raw speed, wireguard is amazing on mobile devices. It connects and reconnects in less than a second, and when you switch from wifi to cellular data it just keeps on truckin’.

I have gigabit internet at home, so I just leave wireguard on all the time on my phone. It never screws me over like openVPN frequently did.

Only problem is there’s no official windows client yet, but if you’re on MacOS, linux, iOS, or android you’re good to go.

Maybe ive been lucky, switching WiFi’s at work etc seems fairly good for me. Hotels one node so fine. Mobiles good, but that might be Plex. Im happy with it.

The OP dude should consider it though, less hassle and all.

Gigabit internet! Lucky you, I can only get VM fiber here, few hundred megabits. You must be twitching when on a public wifi just with how slow it is XD
