I Want to start an online identity

I want a totally new identity to attempt a rise to fame through social media. I need advice, i need help, i am not sure how i can get fans if there is no patient zero (meaning my first fan to give word of mouth to more fans sorry if my english isn't good) basically i am being a fame whore (don't judge lol). However i want this to be as far detached from my real life as possible but with the potential to earn income through this medium. I don't mind photos as they will be somewhat obscure, i might try music or writing blogs i don't know yet. But I will be doing videos, i'll try to do some gaming videos as well but that requires so much personality I'm not sure it's possible without fully exposing yourself to the world. IS THIS EVEN REALISTIC?

Show your tatas. Boobs always draw in fans.

Haa LET''S BE REAL

Ya the internet is kind of tits or GTFO... Other than that you have to be 130% passionate about something... Anything really. And share that passion with the rest of the internet in your chosen format(s)

I've been in many different rings. I've done writing, photography, and music and I never found much success in them. One might say it was the level at which I presented my content, others might just say I didn't market hard enough, regardless, for the 6 years I did music, the 10 years I did writing, and...well, we won't count photography - I didn't really stick with it long enough - I never really found an audience.
In recent months I decided to try my hand in the Youtube ring (as you already know). I'm going to give you the basic advice on growing, but there are some caveats to that which is a longer story below.
The basic is: Yes, people hate shameless self-promotion. I hate it, most people hate it. But there really is no easy way to get your name out there when starting from ground-zero. I would say try to limit how much of a jackass you make yourself, but at the end of the day: no matter what, you kind of have to make a jackass out of yourself to promote your content. In my honest opinion, the worst type of self-promotion is the nontransparent kind, things like "Watch my content!" or the even more shiesty ones where they have a friend or a sock puppet account try to promote their stuff. Don't do that. Just be honest about it. Whenever I self promote I always say it's a shameless promotion.

Now, for my own growth - granted, I don't have a lot of subscribers, but I do have some. This came from the fact I did something relevant to a trending piece of media before the trend hit it's "peak". I did a very lengthy game review on Black Desert Online before any of the major video game or MMO coverage outlets got to it...by spending a lot of time in the foreign servers. Did I intend for this to be successful? Absolutely not. I didn't expect to get any more than a couple hundred views, and yet, now I have...I think 25k views on it. It was thanks to this I got a large portion of my subs.

Shameless promotion is one tool of many.
People look for consistent content, and lots of content. (quality content not required). If you were to shamelessly promote yourself, I think the best way to do it is go to relevant forums, contact other peers who do similar work and just say "Look, I got to start somewhere, right? I'm shamelessly promoting myself and would like your help!"...maybe not quite like that, but, you get the idea. If you have plenty of videos to show off, people can see how serious you are about it...they also have a reference for how often you upload by looking at the video upload date.

The downside is that I really can't give advice for things outside of Youtube. Youtube is growing and while it has some shit posters in the comment section, overall, the community is rather good about supporting and sharing. I think Youtube would be the easiest to start growing yourself, but the fact of the matter is, being a growing personality is a long-term time investment, don't expect rapid returns.

The bright side is that if you want a new alias for yourself, having no one following you now makes changing your alias very easy. Just change your name on Google. I'm known as Nolan Alighieri, but I can assure you one of those names isn't my actual name :)

Reference the Ender's Game book for what to do.
