I want to hear myself speak on my ModMic 4.0

I just got my ModMic and attatched it to my DT 770 PRO's but they are so sealed I can't hear myself speak, this is a problem as I don't know if I'm being too loud or too quiet, it's basically like I'm deaf to the outside world including my own voice, I'm sure you understand the frustration.

Anyway I was hoping anyone knew a solution to this? I do know about putting "listen to my microphone" ON in recording devices BUT this has a HUGE delay and it's impossible to say more than 2 words without interrupting yourself. I used to own a pair of turtle beaches that did this on a  hardware level, it was EXTREMELY useful and I really miss it, so does anyone know a software solution to this?

Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you :)

Try looking into some software called Virtual Audio Cable, it allows you to combine things like audio out and audio input. It should allow you to set it so you can hear you microphone through your chosen speakers/headphones.

It is very possible that this will have a similar delay to listening to it through enabling the function in Windows' sound settings, though I can't remember there being a massive delay when I did something similar a few years ago.
