I’m shamelessly asking for the “one year Linux challenge” badge, or at least asking how to obtain it.
My qualifications: I first was introduced to Linux back in 2004 when a friend loaned me a copy of Linux Red Hat to try out on a old “broken” laptop my dad brought home from work. After realizing that I had no idea what I was doing, I looked into Ubuntu and got one of the install DVDs sent to me and installed it. Ever since then I’ve used some form of GNU-Linux and never looked back. Well, until now just to recall my Linux origin story.

If you know about the badge, that probably means you have seen the mega-thread about it. Scan the last 100 or so posts, there are instructions in it. Long story short: create a post recounting your experience in a way that is interesting, and post a link to it in the mega-thread.

@dumetrulo Okay, great! Thanks for pointing me in the right drection. I did see the mega-thread, and truth be told I was feeling a bit left out haha. I’ll double check the instructions there.
20 years myself. I’ll have to put up some tales of yore and grab one of those badges!
