I think this is faster and better than logans $650 pc

MOBO: ASRock 960GM/U3S3 $55

VIDEO CARD: ZOTAC ZT-50206-10M GeForce GTX 570 $200

PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower XT TPX-675M 675W $60

SSD: Mushkin Enhanced Chronos Deluxe MX MKNSSDCR120GB-MX 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) $109 or you can go for the 120gb samsung 840 or the gskill phenix 3 or the ADATA Premier Pro SP900 ASP900S3-128GM-C 2.5" 128GB SATA III any of these ssds keep the build under $650

total for all part excluding shipping and/or tax = $648

I would think so too looks like a lot for the money

If you aren't going to be using the onboard video you don't need 1866 memory anyway, get 1600 and save some more money.

Like I had said on a very similar thread post, computer component prices fluxuate constantly and usually become obsolete fairly quickly. Also, this time of year, things are a lot cheaper than normal *cough* Christmas *cough*

not to mention that the 570 is like what? a year old at least? obsolete....

It's a $650 machine and the 570 still has comperatively great power for the price, it's only a generation old and there have been no acutal changes to anything that would make it obsolete.

I could beat that easily

fine i'd like to see what you all would build with $650 bucks, and a 570 even though a gen old would do fine it is a better price to performance then the 600 series

Beating someones build from 5 months ago isn't hard, particularly around Christmas time. Just sayin'.

Nice PSU choice. ^^

ya i guess its juust i got into the whole teksyndecate about 2 weeks ago i saw his vid and i out did it and i see what you mean yesterday the psu was 60 now its 90 so ya the prices of things do fluctuate, and at the time 60 bucks for a modular 80 plus bronze 6 to 700w psu was a great price

Puhlease The 660 outperforms the 580 and its the same price as the 570 you listed... Then the 7870 has about the same performance (maybe a little less) but the overclocking capabilities totally out weigh that.

the 660 does not out perforem the 580 look at any decint persons benchmarks and the  580 is better then the 660 and on newegg there is only one 660 that is 200 the  ZOTAC ZT-60901-10M GTX 660

also look at this vid the 660 out did the 7870 3 out of 9 times and the 7870 costs less so dont be a fanboy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bvOY6ObSWXY
