I somehow messed up my audio output

I tested a different format for my audio output. I had never touched it before, it has always been set to "2 channel, 16 bit, 48000 Hz (DVD Quality)". I tested "2 channel, 24 bit, 48000 Hz (Studio Quality)". I ran the test, I could hear it, but it had a little bit of static. I then turned it back to the default setting. But when I played the test, no audio came out. Volume is at 100% and the bar moves up and down when audio is played, but no sound is coming through. I turned the volume all the way up on my amplifier to get some static just to make sure it wasn't my headphones. The headphones are fine.

Could I get some advise?

sure you did not mute it somehow?

I checked several times. Turns out it was related to RealTek being stupid about devices being plugged in. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCQOTBXFznw

glad you got it
