I need some help finding a problem

I got my pc running about 3 weeks or so ago its ran pretty much fine until about last week i think. It started crashing occasionally on start up or when it would wake up. But today it actually didnt boot at all for about an hour. But when i hit the clear cmos button that seemed to fix it. Im pretty sure i have everything connected right. I am running off of a hard drive that has at least 2 fresh installs on it. Can i delete the old installations? The other weird issue i have is that the cooler has been kicking on and relatively loud but today its pretty quiet. Im just using amd chill control V.

is your pc overheating and crashing? Do you have viruses/malwares? And what does mean you have 2 fresh installs on hdd?

What is the spec of your PC, (processor, mobo, ram, hdd, psu, os)?

Does it freeze/crash under certain conditions, (e.g. playing games, writing word docs, copying files)?

The additional installs shouldn't affect anything. I'd open the case up, check that your power from the PSU to motherboard is all connected correctly, (i.e. all sockets in properly, particularly the 4 pin & 24 pin).

If it all looks fine, internally, then run chkdsk /f from an elevated command prompt window, and see if there are any drive errors.

How are you CPU temps when it is running?
