Don't get ATI on Nvidia boards. You'll only get in trouble.
I don't know if someone has already said this but from what i hear, its easy enough to clock the gtx 260 OC to the same performance (if not better) than the gtx 275.
BTW I have recently ordered a gigabyte gtx 260 OC.
What is CUDA?

nope.
As far as the drivers who cares, if its like DX9 to DX10 you'll have the option to switch between the two. Also after that 1st month has gone by you'll be wishing you had a DX11 card. It seems like a short term draw back with a long term pay out to me.
DX11 Now or I Will max OUt my overclock.
Good rig but a few hiccups here and there....
GPU is mainstreak for this day and age . So i say 9800GTX+ GTX 260 GTX 275(REC=Cheap)GTX285 And if you have the money GTX 295 .
If you want ATI : 4850X2 , 4870X2 4890 XXX
Hope this helps
CUDA stands for compute unified device architecture, it is nvidias API that allows programs that are cpu intensive to be ported to the GPU.
