But if you are running some game servers 24/7 i would chose a filesystem that allowes you to make copies while things are running, ZFS is an example of that, so is lvm and btrfs.
I think you would need to do a snapshot on any of the three, and then you could just export that snapshot to the raid or somewhere else. Or perhaps you could just point the creation of the snapshot to the raid to begin with. iām not sure
The game servers wont be 24/7 type of thing turned on as needed. I am more of creating my own personal Spotify music server so I can listen listen to my music anywhere as long as I have connection. Use plex for other media. A cloud Pc so I always have a full desktop experience in my pocket so to speak. These are the things I am planning along side making my data safer.
