i need help picking a gpu i dont really know whats good and whats not for what i want to do.

what i want to do is play games on 2 monitors and be able to run most games on ultra or very high.

i would like the gpu to have crossfire available for later upgrades for my build.

i have an amd 8350 

i dont really want to spend more than 300$

why would you want to play games on 2 monitors?

ya thats the only reasonable thing in your budget right now. But u could always get a like 650 or something that can tide you over till maxwell and what ever amd has coming up next as they most likely will put something out after nvidia makes it move in 2014. OOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRR you do what im doing and im waiting for a litecoin miner to come out and all these miners sell off their gear. Some one i know got 10 hd 6990s for like 160 a piece when the bitcoin miners came out.

so this can be crossfired?

sli, up to 3 way, same thing, just make sure your motherboard supports it, all amd boards support cf but many of the non high end boards don't support sli

Either an AMD R9 280x (Asus, MSI, Sapphire) or the GTX 770 (Asus, EVGA, MSI). Both are very good cards for the money given the 770 is roughly $30-$50 more than the 280x.

A and 7870 would do that for $180

I can add Gigabyte to the 280x list. Have one and it's great!
