I need help on deciding what graphics card i should get?!

I need help on deciding on what kind of graphics card i should get and i want it to run high or medium on BF3, MW3, and Minecraft!!  I would like for. The graphics card to cost at maximum of $130-135 US DOLLARS

Here are my PC SPECS I AM CURRENTLY BUILDING

  • CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor $100
  • Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 ATX  AM3+ Motherboard $134
  • Memory: Mushkin Redline 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory $47
  • Storage: Western Digital 1.0 TB HDD $90
  • Case: NZXT Source 210 Elite (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case $50
  • Power Supply: NZXT HALE82 650W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply $80

uhh have you already purchased thoses parts?  becase for $630 you can get a lot better, I also noticed that you didn't have a CPU cooler, so does that mean you don't intend on overclocking?

now yeah, the case is metro hokey as hell but the cold hard facts are that you have a monster in there that will perform greater than what the phenom build with only a $135 GPU could ever hope for

if you want to take out of the GPU budget or CPU budget which I don't recommend but you can get a better looking case (that's like 10-20 FPS drop for aestics)

You must remember that your graphics card has it's own cpu taking the "strain" off of your main cpu. However, the bus on your motherboard that handles the flow from your GPU can only handle so much depending on the motherboard. No point in putting a $600 graphics card in a $150 motherboard. You must consider how many monitors you intend to use as well. For that motherboard you won't need much more than something like a Saphire Radeon HD6870. 2xDVI, 1x HDMI, Displayport, HD and Blu-Ray compatible, dual slot dual fan active cooler. It is a 1 GB board GDDR 5

I would find a psu a good psu you for $50 to $60 range like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139027.

And save a like $50 on your MB you most likely dont need anything from 990http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128521

spend that extra 70 bucks on a better gpu.

Well,i am kind of new to all of this stuff, i was a console gamer....but then i heard my friends saying to move on to the PC cause it gives you more choices and stuff..... I am a hardcore gamer...i just want a great gaming pc that will last for a long time under $700 US DOLLARS
