I need help choosing the hardware for a new gaming pc

Hey guys

I have an old alienware pc (about 5 years old) and i have been thinking for a while to build one for myself, i have looked around in new egg for the hardware, these are the pieces i liked

Now, i would like to know your opinion, is it too much? Am i being ripped off with some of the pieces? Which power supply do i need?

I am not a hardcore gamer i just like to play games from time to time ( Starcraft 2, Diablo 3, TF2, Total War, Battlefield 4)

It would be nice if i could achieve 4k gaming but i don't know if that is possible with this budget

My budget is about 3,000 dollars, i have no problem with ordering stuff through new egg since i can pick it up over a P.O. Box

I would also like to know if there is a problem with buying and putting at this probable rig 4 memory cards ( the ones that are up there) or how do i put them at the motherboard

And also what do you guys think about 4k gaming as a whole, is it too soon to jump into it?

So what do you think guys?

Thanks in advance

the CPU soket is 2011 and the Motherboard soket is 1150 so don´t match XD the other parts are ok but I don´t know how sill perform @4k

maybe this could help

IMO, the parts you've picked are a bit overkill.  4K gaming still needs to mature.  I would rather have a surround setup or a 2560x1440 display than have a single 4k panel.  With a 3K budget, though, here's what I got:

Thanks guys!
