I need durability for a DVR build

Hey I just discovered this site and so far am very impressed.  I saw the videos recomending parts for budget builds, gaming builds, editing builds etc.

I was hoping you guys could recomend a DVR build with a the emphasis on duribility.  The kind of DVR I'm talking about records 16 HD video streams from IP cameras 24 hours a day.  I know that kind of build might not have a lot of mass appeal but maybe you could generally recomend parts for rigs that are doing a lot of heavy processing 24 hours a day.
