Hi everyone,
to make a long story short I bought a sweet I7 ultra book for school but I didn't know most game clients were blocked on my colleges wifi. All students can still play games on the school computers fine, the only problem is they wipe student profiles when they log off so everyone has to download the game every day which sucks. There is somewhere in the directory to save perma but I have no idea where it is lol. I want to play league on my laptop and one of my coworker says I can use a tunneler to do something weird to my Ip adress and let me play league and steam and all the stuff I pay for with tuition on campus. If anyone knows a tunneler please let me know. You might just create a whole Renaissance for the gamers on campus.
Just download and install it to a flash drive? You could even save the installer onto it as well.
With LoL you wont need to download it each time, you might need to install it though. It'll verify the files are correct then you should be right (if it doesn't need to update).
It could be a way to do it without a tunneler and possibly going against your school/campus rules.
You could also ask the system administrator nicely and he might allow you to do it without a tunnel.
Thanks but the game is already downloaded on my main computer and the flash drives, the client will run but it won't start the game after login screen/ as far as the rules on campus the game is played already on campus lan computer but you can't access on wifi maybe a port is blocked. So I don't see how that could be reallyagainst the rules because it's contradictory but who knows. As far as the system admin, I'll try my luck at that one so thanks.
