I need a game!

Just finished a 4 hour exam paper now I have about 2 days to kill before studying for the next one, so...

I need a game. A good game, any game... Old or new, I don't care, Just make a suggestion...

Unfortunately I will have played most of your suggestions, but I'm hoping someone knows of some hidden treasure I've never heard of, or perhaps just never tried before.

Please, help a man in need!

Plus, then other people can also discover some good games here.

Try some emulator games, that's what I always do if I need a game to play and don't especially feel like paying for one and wanna see something I missed out on.

Star wars bounty hunter. <-Ps2 Emulator, tells a sweet story about Jango Fett that makes him not a disgrace to the series.

Champions; Return to arms. <- Ps2 Emulator. It's like Guild Wars offline sorta, it's amazing fun though I played it so much.

Conkers Bad Fur Day <- Project 64 Emulator, it looks soooo nice for an N64 game on the emulator. The story will crack you up for sure.

You could take a stab at the Half Life games if you haven't already.

That's all I got.

Phantasy star online is my all time favourite game, it's old but you can play it on Ultima private server, just google PSOBB ultima.

Amnesia: The dark descent is fun especially with the custom stories.

Any Zelda game on emulators if there's any you haven't played.

Star wars: Republic commando, my favourite star wars game by far.

Red faction Guerrilla is really fun and has a decent story too, destructible environments are just too fun lol

Torchlight or Diablo, both amazing games. If you've done both of them then try Titan quest, it's not quite as good but still a decent game.

Freelancer, the best space game ever imo

Katawa Shoujo, certainly not for everyone alot of people find it boring but for chilling out and reading a good story it's the best game of it's type.

Otherwise try out some fighting games like Arcana hearts 3 (the arcade version was leaked for PC find it on torrent sites), Killer instinct (using MAME), Super street fighter 4 arcade edition or Mortal kombat trilogy.

If you havent tried it already I find Killing Floor to be quite addicting. Its a wave based survival shooter.

Played all except Zeno Clash... will give it a try...

Thanks, I actually owned champions on my PS2, back in the day. Played the rest though, except Conkers... I'll give it a go...

Online games are unfortunately out of the question, due to internet connection issues (proxy stuff). Maybe I'll try  a Zelda, though I think I've done most of them... Did the rest, except Katawa Shoujo, so, I'll try, i guess. Fighting games are meh for me in single player.

Also, check the underlord mod for titan quest... Massive improvement

Looks good, I'll try it

Hopefully there aren't rules against posting too much, I like to respond to posts in topics I create, so people know I appreciate their help.

Anyway, just in case someone else is also using this thread to find games, Hotline Miami is disturbingly brilliant...

How about one of the many Mods made for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow Of Chernobyl?

If no one has suggested it yet, sins of a solar empire is always a fun rts game to play online.

Get some mods! Some good single-player ones for HL2 and HL2 Ep 2 are: Black Mesa, Nightmare House 2, Aberration, The Citizen 1 and 2, MINERVA, Mission Improbable, Lost Under the Snow, and Nestlings.

i enjoyed playing "The Darkness 2" but i beat it in 9 hours and then got bored afterwards

It's quite a good game - the singleplayer lasts maybe 7-12 hours, although there are challenge maps that I spent a decent amount of time on. Short but sweet game, great combat (which makes up 99% of the gameplay), quite nice story, and a really unique surrealist setting / art style.

Yes, I love sins! My friend and I take on the largest systems over weekends. good times...

I'm laying in bed sick all week, played sleeping dogs with a xbox wired controller, it's short tho. Good fun if you're into GTA style games. Looks insane even on a 9800gt 512mb.

Let me know if you ever want to play. I'm not exactly an expert, but I love that game. I haven't played it in a really long time though.

TF2

Yeah, can't. I can't access steam or play most online games, as my dorm's proxy blocks all UDP and some TCP ports... believe me, unless I use paid VPN's it doesn't work.
