im wondering if anyone could suggest a good server distro that i could use for web hosting
p.s im looking for something simple to install and use

Don't use this.
With RedHat you have to pay for support, If you don't want to pay but still want redhat, go with CentOS.
I would say go with Debian or CentOS and some sort of web interface panel like webmin if you need a crutch to help you start.
CentOS is also a great option; I only have direct experience with RedHat, though :(
and can i host with these options
You could host with any distro, but CentOS is your best bet ;)
