“Today I saw my own son use a bicycle as a weapon. You yelled ‘rape’ at the top of your lungs.”
From Bone Tomahawk
"I Know the World’s Supposed to Be Round, but I’m Not So Sure About This Part"
"Wait till they get a load of me"
Jack Nicholson's Joker
&
"What doesn't kill you, only makes you-- stranger"
Heath Ledger's Joker.
From Interstellar:
"Newtons third law, humanity needs to leave something behind to get further."
The onsy quote I like is from a british TV show called Scott and Bailey.
"If you two break my trust I will kill you and get away with it because I know how"
The story leading up to it made me laugh my ass off.
Gran Torino. Still one of my favorite all time movies.
[Walt's smoking] You should quit. Those things are bad for you.
Yeah? So's being in a gang.
Smokie: Are you fucking crazy? Go back in the house.
Walt Kowalski: Yeah? I blow a hole in your face and then I go in the house... and I sleep like a baby. You can count on that. We used to stack fucks like you five feet high in Korea... use ya for sandbags.
Gran Torino is an amazing movie I love all the racist remarks Clint Eastwood makes lol. And of course "Get off my lawn!"
I can only imagine the sjw uproar if that movie came out this year.
have you ever seen Blazing Saddles? people would have a heart attack if that was released now
That too.
Agreed, they would totally ignore the fact the movie points out racism is ignorant through Clint befriending the boy and his family.
I've had arguments about with people saying that there were to many slurs. I like to point out that the character Walt was a Korean War vet whose scarred from his past.
Can I quote a scene?
yeah of course even better than a quote
EDIT - i love that scene by the way
Still have this scene memorized lol.
so much of the Blues Brothers is gold:
Mrs. Murphy: May I help you boys?
Elwood: You got any white bread?
Mrs. Murphy: Yes.
Elwood: I'll have some toasted white bread please.
Mrs. Murphy: You want butter or jam on that toast, honey?
Elwood: No ma'am, dry.
[Mrs. Murphy gives him a look, then turns to Jake]
Jake: Got any fried chicken?
Mrs. Murphy: Best damn chicken in the state.
Jake: Bring me four fried chickens and a Coke.
Mrs. Murphy: You want chicken wings or chicken legs?
Jake: Four fried chickens and a Coke.
Elwood: And some dry white toast please.
Mrs. Murphy: Y'all want anything to drink with that?
Elwood: No ma'am.
Jake: A Coke.
Mrs. Murphy: Be up in a minute
I'm definitely a fan of the Blues Brothers, specifically the "Mission from God" and "I hate Illinois Nazis."
But my favorite of any movie is "..., and don't call me Shirley."
I hate this place. This zoo. This prison. Whatever you want to call it I can't stand it any longer. I must get out. I must get free, and inside this head is the key.
