I hate installing the Zalman 9900 cpu cooler when the motherboard is inside the case. WTF Zalman? :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Those big loop Zalman coolers look really unique and does cool well… but even aside from mounting frustrations it is not a silent beast, which always turned me off it.
The Noctua D14 is universally better in noise for temps if you can handle the extra 8mm of height and 200grams of weight.

And what if the fan dies? On a noctua you can just buy another fan and strap it to the heatsink. Probably not a real option on the Zalman, right?
