I'm trying to turn a factory computer into a gaming rig. I currently have an i3 550, 6 gb of ram, a 300 watt  psu, and a 1 tb hdd. For now i might just keep the cpu. my budget is 270$, and i'm trying to get the best gpu possible, and a good psu. help ._.

r9 270x would probably work well. For that PSU you can just get a low end r7 240 or gt 630.

i might be crazy, but that cpu might be a problem with a stong gpu anyway, so i'd get a really nice psu [example], and a 7870/270x or 7950 if you see one cheap
