I installed Windows 10 and I am having some problems

So I have installed Windows 10 and I love it. I think it is great but unfortunately I am having some problems...

I have a 22 or 24 inch monitor (I can not remember which right now) and the resolution is naturally 1920x1080 but there is a black bar that goes around the edge of the screen and is about .75 inches on the top and bottom and 1.25 inches on the sides.

I look it up and it is actually a easy fix: Open up CCC.exe and change some settings, no big deal. But My CCC.exe will not launch when i click on it so I right click the Icon and click "Run as Administrator" it gives me a pop-up confirming that I want this action to be made and Of course I say "Yes". But after I click "yes" the pop up disappears and nothing happens...

So do you guys or ladies have any advice or information for me? I know that Windows 10 is not even a week old so I am not expecting exact answers but I honestly have no idea what I should do about this and it is really bugging me that I know how to fix this but I can't.

Did you do an upgrade or fresh install?

if it was an upgrade, uninstall all graphics drivers, reboot and reinstall.

OK. I have done what you have said bro and It worked. Thanks man. :)

I installed windows 10 as a virtual machine and I cannot get it to display in 1920 x 1080. Is there a way change this?

Probably depends on what kind of virtualization software you run, and also depends on your hardware obviously. I had no problems running Win10 in fullscreen 1440p on vmware with vmware tools installed.

I'm using Oracle VM VurtialBox and I have a 27" 1080p monitor and I'm sure that my PC is powerful enough to run a virtual machine. Is there a driver that needs to be installed to make this happen?

Do you have a "k" Intel CPU?

No, I'm running AMD-8350.
