You have to keep in mind that any prices you see now ... may be radically different in a month. Any suggestions are just that ... unless you plan to purchase the listed items immediately. Plan on different pricing in a month.
The build you have looks pretty good ...
except the PSU is overkill unless you plan on adding a second GPU in the future ... 500w would work in the current build ... stay with Corsair or XFX or Seasonic.
Corsair Vengeance Pro ram tends to be pricey ... could find cheaper brand
May have clearance issue with tall heat shields on ram with CPU cooler ... may consider low profile ram sticks if using the Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD3H-BK mobo.
You may consider a better mobo if you plan on OC'ing ... Asus Z97-PRO ATX LGA1150 Motherboard has better power delivery (12 phase) and Intel Gigabit Ethernet and better isolated onboard sound. And it is a very well rounded board. It would be an extra $30 well spent. IMO
This has everything as you like. I traded some components for equal quality but lower price ones so you can use the money for a better quality GTX 970 and an additional HDD. Mouse and Keyboard are also included.
Highlights:
3 drives - 128gb SSD for windows and main programs, 256gb SSD for games, 1tb HDD for storage/media
logitech mouse and keyboard that are premium without breaking the bank. The keyboard can be any color your want and has loads of features included an lcd screen you can keep track of FPS and temperatures of your new system.
I changed the powersupply to another very good one to save some money.
I kept the case because I figured you liked the style.
**If you want to max out the budget, then I would definitely go for the i7. I think its worth the money as more games are coming out that use more than 4 threads.
Total including all perfs ............... $1935.05 ...
Estimated Wattage ......... 492W
You could drop one of the GPUs and still play on ultra settings at 1080p and maybe go with an i7 CPU and larger SSD and still have $$$$ left over for speaks or headset and ??
