Ok, so after searching my house,
I found this old 160gig hdd and it's sata 1.5gb/s
It's a maxtor, before they got aquired by seagate..damn thats old.
Would this hdd hinder the performance of let's say an APU gaming pc significantly?
Thanks

That thing is extremely old... 1.5gb/s is very slow, but in a game, I don't know if the speed of an APU will be hinderred. But, seriously, you can get a 1TB 7200RPM 6.0gb/s HDD for $99.99 or less...
ahh ok, yeahyeah I know I can buy a another hdd, but when I found this I was completely bewildered that I still had it, so I was just wondering
with that speed you could store your media on it and free up some space
it will boot slow and have extended loading screens, that is all
