I finally understood why Logan loves it to benchmark [Picture Heavy]

recently played through The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, and sure we all know its a stunner but i just didnt expect it to look that good. Through it i couldnt help but think that it makes sense why @Logan likes to include it in his benchmarks.

words dont do it justice, just have a look

If only the next Elder Scrolls game (or any game, really) could look like that without having to mod the crap out of it.

And it runs buttery smooth, gotta love UE4

true that 60fps constant

And here I thought my modded Skyrim was gorgeous... I do believe I'll have to grab a copy of this game!

Personally, I think that I like hte color scheme that they used in the original version as well as the water effects more than that of the UE4 version. The effects for other things such as lighting and things like that are better. Both are stunning, but my point is that you shuold have a look at the original as well. You never know, you might like it better too.

thanks for this will check it out for sure

Witcher 3 would look better if it used global illumination like it was supposed to before they dumbed it down.

or you can go outside... the graphics are even better... the physics are realistic too.

but the gameplay sucks

And all the characters are so annoying.

it's an rpg...

If you don't like the characters or the map, just go somewhere else.

easy to say when you are from a region in the game that lets you travel at will, for others are not so lucky and are refused entry to other regions based on where they are originally from

Plus no fast travel? Will need a patch or mod for that before it is really playable.

all you do in ethan carter game is walk around and stair at grass an rocks.... you can do that in real life and it looks much much better.

Personally I think modding Skyrim to look like this is fun.

i still havent played skyrim, but ive been thinking about it recently any mods you can recommend?
