I feel somewhat bad cos i used to play a lot FPS and i was kinda good but now i just find them a bit boring! Just that running and gunning i mean! Yeah it can be fun in super small chunks but overall i just dont find them interesting anymore. Is it me or the games have somehow changed! Like i remeber Bad Company 2 was really fun. Now i tried B4 and damm it feels boring to me. I played Wolfenstain New Order and it was fun i mean the story and shooting was fun together!
I have been losing interest in gaming in general lately. And honestly for me that is fine because I have other aspects of my life that need more attention than I was giving them

The last shooter per say I played and actually had any pleasure was Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl. I tried Bioshock - bored. Wolfenstien the new Boredom... BORED erlands... Etc... I was counting on Doom to spark me back - not really...
I found one shooter game interesting, and that is Battleborn. It looks really really good. It also have objectives and single player and multi player and everything. If only was made by someone else... Gearbox is one of my blacklisted devs that I will not buy anything from... Like Ubisoft...

Well combat arms is still like it was. on its initial release in asia in 2004. Its even still in 4:3 they just stretched it to fit.
Try playing SMITE, it's like an action MMO crossed with a MOBA. I challenge you to play 100-200 matches and watch a few hours of twitch streams (high Elo players, ofc).
I often get bored with FPS (Planetside 2, rails, and the like), so I pick up either my choice of MMO or SMITE

Yeah, that's why it appeals to FPS more than anything. It's much different than an RTS style MOBA.
I suppose Paragon is an option, if you can still play that. From what I've seen, it's slightly slower than SMITE.
I played the Overwatch open beta and it was refreshing.
Agree with @Calvus. In this age, FPS shooter types have flooded the market and supersaturated the market with titles that follow the same stories, mechanics, etc.
Overwatch is Blizzard's first new IP in 17 years. They built a game that I think was great.
FPS games especially have been stale. And the ones that weren't like everything in the past had too small of a community to be a good replacement. Overwatch is definitely a solid progression and almost definitely isn't going to suffer from a small population. It definitely has a few things that bug me that is kind of like the norm for the industry. I'm hoping it takes enough of TF2's money that Valve starts making a new shooter.
