that mobo has a weird position for the main power :(

Oh wow! your right it's right at the IO plate.

lol why are you making me choose i have no clue what im doing :(

go asus, you'll never regret it.

my personal opinion

MSI K9N2 Diamond

that should work.

Although I have had no problems with ASUS other people have so I recommend that board.

This what you want.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131323

and

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814187030

what are you gonna be playing anyway.

right now i play mostly tf2 and css, but i just want a better system, but i would only be upgrading my motherboard to something that can handle sli and a graphics card that can handle sli

well then, go with a 750a mobo, i would recommend asus

and either the 9800gtx+ or gts 250

tsrichter24 wrote 1 hour ago »

naw sonata im gonna get the 9800 gtx haha.

the gts250 is the same exact damn card and besides gts250 sounds cooler than 9800gtx

get an XFX motherboard. XFX will solve all your problems.

Not European

Problem Solving

Get the EVGA 780i

>the gts250 is the same exact damn card and besides gts250 sounds cooler than 9800gtx

The GTS 250 and 9800GTX+ are so similar, I hear you can SLI them like the 8800GT and 9800GT.

So get the cheapest. Also for $40 more you can get a GTX 260 core 216.

9800 is bad get a 4000series!

a gtx 260 card and a 780i mobo wud b good for now :)

If you're still stuck on Nvidia, you could go with an Asus M4N72-E Motherboard, it's got two PCIx16 2.0 slots for SLI or a multi screen setup and it can easily take the newer Phenom II and on Newegg it's like 135$ US or 164$ Canadian.

i've got a xfx 780i with a xfx 9800 gtx. Both are great, i'd suggest em

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131323 Is cheap if you still want to sli your 9800gtx later. What MB are you using now? you should invest in a 260gxt or 4870 instead.
