sorry, i knew that terrorism would had been a bad word of choice but, it was the only word that i knew

but the meaning of terrorism that i was using was that for :[any types of organized civil disobedience that consequence in breaking the law]

u would get alot more destructive protests, and your average gang.

Isn't part of the whole problem with the Alphabet agencies that they make themselves more important than they really are, and are prepared to deliver "services" that are not part of their democratically assigned mission?

I believe that intelligence agencies are a good thing, but please... cobbler, stick to thy last!

Citizens don't take enough responsibility in the matter in my opinion. They are too easily scared off, or just prefer getting entertained to sleep.

In my opinion, this is non-negotiable, and it's the duty of the political world, to make sure that the fundamental rights are guaranteed at all time. The willingness of a political caste to compromise on fundamental rights, ALWAYS ends in death and destruction, that has been like that for the last 4000 years, and there is no scientific credible evidence that that would change any time soon.

People just have to learn to respect each other for what they are, because there is no other option, and some people want more than others, and are willing to hurt others to get that. That is when healthy competition becomes unhealthy war and oppression, and humanity suffers a setback or gets put on hold.

The alphabet agencies should protect the very rights they are violating. They were created to guarantee those very rights. That's the thing that's most disgusting! Let's not discuss how alphabet agencies should or shouldn't do this or that... let's talk about why they were created in the first place... what democratic mandate have they got... their explicit mission is to guarantee the fundamental democratic values in the face of threats... so what are they spying on the voters that have given them their mandate for... this just doesn't make any sense at all!

Well the agencies jobs are to protect the nations, this is understandable and acceptable. However if the agencies get out of control the end result is a militaristic dictatorship. Afterall, if all you got is a hammer then everything looks like a nail

First facebook, then backdoor on skype to geo-locations on iphones. For those who want their own privacy might have to not use those services or circumvent them. I remember back in the day I used to block google analytics and use yahoo or a different search engine and adblock like crazy. Nowadays I just don't care.
