I am a first time builder and unsure of all the parts I need

[$850 US Dollars] Hey, I'm a first time builder and I am unsure of what parts I need. I have watched a ton of youtube videos but I can't seem to figure all this crap out. Please I need help. Here is a list of my parts. I will post what they are if I know for sure what they are. Please if I need any additional parts could anyone recommend me some, I am trying to stick with an $800 budget. (This is gonna be a gaming pc) NO NEED TO WORRY ABOUT THE CASE! I am also not interested in over clocking for my first build.

Straight up, I will say I am confused about the Hard Drive stuff and the Video/Graphics Card stuff. Please I need help on what stuff I NEED to get for this.

Processor: AMD FD6300WMHKBOX FX-6300 6-Core Processor Black Edition

Memory: G.SKILL Sniper Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2400 (PC3 19200)
Desktop Memory Model F3-2400C11D-16GSR

Is this a video card or graphics card? If so, which one of the two do I NEED for this computer?: ASUS Radeon HD 7770 HD7770-2GD5 Graphics Card - 2 GB GDDR5 - 128-bit - 1020 MHz

Motherboard: ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

Battery: EVGA 500 W1 80+, 500W 3 Year Warranty Power Supply 100-W1-0500-KR

Now here is where I am SUPER confused. I need to know which of these is a Hard Drive, if I need only one of these, if I need both of these, or if I am missing some things that go with the Hard Drive. I cannot express my confusion in words.

ADATA USA Premier Pro SP600 2.5-Inch 128 GB SATA III Synchronous NAND SSD ASP600S3-128GM-C
and
Western Digital Caviar Blue 320 GB Bulk/OEM Hard Drive 3.5 Inch, 8 MB Cache, 7200 RPM SATA II WD3200AAJS

So once again, do I need one of these, both of these, or am I missing something for my Hard Drive to work.

Also to sum this all up, are their any parts I am missing besides keyboard, mouse, monitor, and case? Is there anything that I am missing like the thermal glue stuff? I am so confused please anything helps. First time builder problems suck major balls.

There is a video on Teksyndicate that breaks down how to build a computer very well.

I don't have a link but if you search on their youtube channel "building".... Should come up.

You forgot the OS and an optical drive, but you may not need an optical drive depending on your build.

Basic needs are always CPU, Memory, Motherboard, power supply, video card, hard drive, optical drive, case, and OS. You can always change up the quality of the parts depending on budget.

As for the SSD and mechanical hard drive, the SSD is fast and is for your OS and basic applications and the michanical is for data storage. I would get at least a 1TB for data storage. They cost around the same as a 320 and if you have a lot of games 320 will fill quickly. You can also forgo the SSD if you want. It's not needed... But it's nice.

Your OEM processor heat sink will come with thermal paste too.

Ok Bezerk, I am 15 and my parents are funding my first build. This computer will be strictly for me and I will use it to play games such as H1Z1, minecraft, and other Steam Games. Any games that are available for the ps4, such as any COD, GTA, Battlefield, etc, I will get on my ps4. So I have around an $750 - $800 USD budget. I need to know if I am missing any parts or if any of these parts are incompatible. Also, do I have any parts on this list that are not necessary. I don't think I will have the budget for and SSD, sadly.

16GB Ram is a bit overkill for a gaming rig, so I made a build here.
It is a bit over your budget but you can get a 1tb Hard drive instead of the 2tb provided and not get the fan. (The case I chose already supplies two stock 140mm fans, front and rear, the added fan is for the front, for more cool air.)

I know 16GB is overkill, but I was checking out the prices with my dad and he said I should get 16GB and I will never have to worry about it and I can keep using them for future rigs.

I think I will definitely use a lot of things from your build thank you for helping out. Ok so here is the parts list I have put together, I already have a keyboard and a mouse and windows 8, so no need to worry about those.

Ok, so the compatibility issues are as follows:

Some AMD 970 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Vishera CPUs. The

Fractal Design FD-CA-CORE-3300-BL ATX Mid Tower Case supports video cards up to 430mm long, but video cards over 255mm may block drive bays. Since the MSI Radeon R9 390 8GB Video Card is 277mm long, some drive bays may not be usable.

Now, does anyone think that these two issues could be bad? Do I need to pick different parts? If so, what would you guys recommend?

Hi, Check this one out, there is no ssd and the gpu isn't as good as the build that was previously suggested but it is within budget, pc part picker shows no compatibility issues, and should serve you well. here is the link http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2mHs4D

Thanks TheBeastWithin, I definitely appreciate your time making that list, it is well below budget, which is nice, and gives me plenty of room to upgrade soon, I think I will stick with most of what I have. I definitely will downgrade on some of my choices to leave more upgrade room.

It is just a simple BIOS update, nothing to worry about, you may need even need to apply an update.
About the GPU.
Some bays need to be removed for the GPU to fit in its slot, but some will be usable.
If you intend on upgrading later on, and intend on adding more HDD's/SSD's, get a better case.

No problem. Any time.

Is removing the bay hard? How long does it take?

Not hard, just a few screws to undo with a Phillips-Head screwdriver.
