Hybrid crossfire or lucid mvp for FM2 socket

i am building a cheap gaming rig with amd apu solution?

here are my specks

cpu-amd a10 6800k

gpu- 2Xamd 6670(as it support hybrid crossfire with apu and is cheap)

my questions to you are................

1- is it a good idea to go for 2X6670 gpu (as it support hybrid crossfirewith apu and is cheap) or rather go for similarly prised single gpu from amd and use lucid mvp with it for increased speed?

2- is lucid mvp better than hybrid crossfire in this specific case or vice-versa??

thankssss for the awesome community and keep up the good work.

sorry my English is not that good.

Firstly hybrid crossfire is not really that good of an idea, especially 2 of them, which is maybe not even possible...

Secondly, Lucid only works with an intel cpu. State all of your gathered specs and a price point together with what you will be using the system for.

i believe hybrid crossfire (igpu+dgpu) only works with 2 gpus, so just the apu + 1 6670

as for lucid i have no idea what that is

http://www.lucidlogix.com

FM2A85X Extreme6 motherbord supports lucid mvp

but i dont know if you can implement it with 2x6670 gpus and onbord gpu of the apu

does hybrid crossfire supports 2x6670 setup??

I don't know how it does that since according to lucid, you need an intel cpu... But still, what do you want to achieve with it. Also, even if you can implement it, you shouldn't. Just go with a dedicated gpu... The marginal savings aren't worth the hassle...

1. no you cannot have 3 way hybrid crossfire (pretty sure)

2. are you really considering wasting an entire build because you think this software will work even though the people who made it say it wont?

3. a 6800k is about 140, a 6670 is about 55, so if you're planing to put in about 250 on processor+graphics then it would be much better to get an athlon 750k (80)+hd7870/gtx660

thanks everybody i got my answer

Try a 7750. If you want an idea of the performance, look up the vibox archon.

A10 6800k can actually Hybric CFX with a 7750. I would not recommend at all cfx with a 6670, it's a really low end card and won't do much for you. However I prefer getting a sepparate phenom X4 + 7850 all the way.

could you use the lucidlogix software to crossfire an apu with, say, a 7870?
