So basically, HWBOT is no longer accepting benchmarks created within Windows 8, due to an RTC issue.
For those who don't know the RTC (Real Time Clock) is usually an intergrated circuit on the mobo (usually the small silver cylinder lying sideways across the board) and allows the OS clock to sync with it to keep an acurate time.
However, due to windows 8 being a "OS for all devices", some devices do not have an intergrated RTC (they are expensive) So Microsoft basically made it sync with the hardware clock of the cpu.
Legit right?
Well if you then lower the base clock and up the multiplier to give the same core clock. (Whilst in windows) The clock windows synced with is now effectivly running slower! Thus time in windows slows down. "Windows Back to the Future Edition"??
A video demonstrating the issue with the same method as described.

So as a result HWBOT are no longer taking result created within windows 8/8.1

What are your thoughts? Should we also ban benchmarks created within windows with our thread The [Un]Official TekSyndicate Benchmark Leaderboard?
