Not to trash any Alabamans (is that the right name?) but, of all the places................

Google strategic plans who to go with. The municipalities with the most easy of acquiring permits and getting all the planning done plus the highest bid... pretty much is where they go

Huntsville, actually has a large technology and aerospace presence, and it's not just NASA and the Redstone Arsenal. Also, I live just outside of Huntsville, and I already have a fiber connection to my house, but the CO-OP I receive my Internet lacks the backbone to push Gigabit, but hopefully this will help fix that.

If Google were targeting the illiterate, then why did they chose Huntsville?http://www.al.com/news/huntsville/index.ssf/2014/09/at_25th_huntsville_leads_alaba.html

The incentives, the city gave had a lot to do with it.

Way to go Google! Keep spreading that Google Fiber. Thing is though the global market is a thing these days and so can you in the future bring some competition to Canada? Please!
