In a few months im going to be buying some new hardware, i want to build a bluray capable HTPC with the left over hardware but im not too sure if it would be worth building or just buying a bluray player. I will have an i5 750 and 8 gigs of ddr3, i also will have a maximus formula iv but i will be selling that because i want to use a m-atx board so i can use the optical bay in the fractal design node 604. So i have a few options.
1. Sell everything and build the pc from new compnents.
2. Sell eveything and buy a bluray player.
3. Sell the mobo and buy.

- PSU
- Mobo
- GPU
- HDD
- Cooler
There are obvious benifets to both if i build the pc i will definatle be using it as a little lan box/ steam box but i dont really need that atm i dont even know if i will make full use of it, but on the other hand if i just buy the bluray player i will save some money than i can put into a better audio setup, tv, or beer. What do you guys think?
