Overkill is the...best...kill?

I would go for a z97 motherboard instead. They have the same compatibility as the z87 motherboards. And the 4690k is 100mhz faster than the 4670k, it is easier to overclock, and it's five dollars cheaper on amazon. The gtx 660 is way outdated. I would go for a single 780 if you have the money. They are really cheap right now. If you are building this for a hackintosh I would recommend doing some research on components. Usually Gigabyte's motherboards are best for hackintoshes. I think that windows 8 would be a better choice, in my opinion. It has support for Direct X 11.2 and Windows 10 will be a free upgrade when it comes out.

If a z87 motherboard is more stable for a hackintosh than a z97 motherboard then go for that.
