HTML5 virtual machine management?

I’m looking for an Open Source Linux project that would provide the equivalent of unRAID for managing Virtual Machines.

I’ve tried Kimchi, Cockpit and Webmin (Virtualmin) but these guys are way behind (or irrelevant) compared to what unRAID is capable of in terms of VM customization e.g. with an XML editor for specific device passthrough configuration, etc.

At this point, I’m sticking with Virt-Manager… but I wish I could manage and create virtual machines from a web browser with all advanced features enabled.

I’d love to see Virt-Manager being HTML5 compatible :yum:

I personally hate web-based management tools. Gimme a nice ncurses-based TUI anyday.

Take a look at oVirt, it’s a free open-source virtualization solution with a web UI. I’m using it to manage my VMs on a singular server but there are way more powerful features if you have more than one host you can use.

Proxmox might also be an option. It’s an ugly interface, but it has decent features, including distributed, clustered storage.
