Microsoft and GameStop are sponsoring Vive demos in select locations.
I don't really want to buy one at any price (because I know I will use it for about a week before I get bored). But I sure as hell want to try it.
My nearest location is 2 hours away. I'm thinking about driving to Cincinnati.

Dang, nothing within a 200 mile radius of me. I'm definitely looking forward to the VIVE. At least to see what it can do with my own eyes.
It's definitely worth having a demo. The experience is worth it as the potential is there despite the current hardware limitations. What a demo avoids is the initial hassle of setting up the HMD, especially the Vive currently with the two lighthouses and room calibration, and just gets you straight into the experience.
I have a Vive, it was a hassle to get the software installed due to my over zealous anti-virus and their software getting it's fingers deeply into the OS.
Wow they can't manage to do one in every state at least? I find that kind of surprising...
