HP DL380p Gen8 right fans running a lot faster

Hi there,

I have an HP DL380p Gen8 server, with 2 CPUs, 128GB of ram spread over the slots as instructed by HP, etc.

Something that has been bugging me, is having the 3 fans on the right running A LOT higher than the ones on the left.
This ofc, results on a lot more noise and power consumption.

I’ve checked the thermal probes and I don’t see anything that high.

Please note that the server is complaining about the boot drive not being “authenticated” (aka HP rebranded), but that shouldn’t cause this on my opinion.

Any ideas?

Thanks.
