Has anyone played grand theft auto 4 for the pc here? I was wondering because there is alot of negative reviews on it and ive heard that there are lots of bugs in the game but its been out for a couple years idk how many exactly but some people were thinking there would be a patch released by rockstar games but from what i know there hasnt been one. i was going to buy the game a couple weeks ago but i didnt and now i want to again but id like to get some personal preferences on it first before i do. feel free to post about it if youve played it and what you think about the game and is it worth buying.
I bought it off steam for cheap.
Some graphical glitches... Thats it.
On an entire different issue, I feel that it's worse then San Andreas. No property to buy, no businesses to build. Pretty annoying missions, everyone bugging you to hang out is annoying, and the dialogue is mediocore at points.
It's a fun game, but I guess Vice City and SA really set a bar, I was disappointed with it. It should of built upon what made those games great, instead it took steps back.
Its really not a bad game, worth the $4.50 I paid for it. It has a few graphical bugs as Spekor pointed out but besides that not much else. There are plenty of mods available that keep the game fresh for awhile. I would recommend getting TBoGT as well as the base game.
