How was the Black Ops 2 single player?

How was the single player element in this game?  Some people say it a big improvement in terms of it being rail like experienec and dumbed down.  For those that have played it, what are your thoughts?

Its good involves alot of shooting as you can expect it also takes some radical turns and twists down the line of the story and at the end It had me saying what and why the F did that have to happen as I later figured out you HAVE TO do the strike missions to get a good ending in the game so I reccomend doing that and yeah Its a call of duty game lots of shooting no regard for human life 99.9% of the time and it makes 0 sense but it was fun

GRAMMAR AND PUNCTUATION! USE IT! And correct spelling!

It's good. Involves a lot of shooting, as you can expect. It also takes some radical turns and twists down the line of the story. At the end, it had me saying 'what, why the fuck did that have to happen?' I later figured out it's imperative to do the strike missions to get a good ending. I reccommend doing them. As you can expect, it's a Call of Duty game so there's a lot of shooting, no regard for human life most of the time, and it makes no sense. But, it was fun.
