How to Un-Rib My AKG Headphones

Hi all!

So as o a lot of you probably know, some AKG headphones (and many other headphone brands) use ribbing on their headphone headband and it hurts, EVERY TIME.

 

So I was wondering if anybody here know of a good way to "un-rib" my headphones headband?

Although I kind of don't like recommending the site, Head-fi does have a decent modding community.  You might wanna ask them for some advice.
