How to test psu

I bought a used evga g2 750w psu with no cables for $5 usd. I will purchase the correct cables directly from evga. My main concern is hooking it up to a pc and it damaging components. Is there a good way to test it without hooking it up to a pc? It still has a warranty for the original owner, but no warranty for second hand owner. Open to any and all suggestions.
