I just bought a rugged pendrive to use as a keyring. Is there anyway i can secure the contents in the drive. So that i can decrypt it in the device i connect it & use it. I want a solution that can work across different OS & devices

Wondering is there any Andriod App that allows to decrypt a specific file in the usb to allow the pc to temporarly see the file. Hiding othere files.when connecting to a unsecure machine.
I use across windows, linux & unix (mac). Cannot affort the costlier hardware AES pendrives.

Then your only hope is to use NTFS as the filesystem on the drive, and then to encrypt it with 7zip with AES; which is available on all systems.

Thanks Dynamic_Gravity, I am hoping for a solution more that i could use from the pendrive to encrypt & de-crypt. Now the problem comes where i might not have access to run the program in the machine i connects to.
I am now looking more of a solution where i could use my Samsung Galaxy S7 to decrypt the specific file before plugging in the drive to unknown devices.
64Gb pendrive in a keychain with OTG & Samsung galaxy S7 will give me the freedom to show & hide files on the go.
Will post in here again if i could find a good solution.
