Basically, this printer indicator looks really ugly up there next to my dark theme and i was wondering how to remove it. Thanks

Problem solved.
Honestly Unity is really bad about letting you customize that stuff. The only other option would be to get a new theme and hope that it will change all the little icons, or don't use a printer.
