hello i have been recently have been researching alot of newer computer parts and relized that my comp was becoming out of date. so i decided i would build a new pc. i set a budget for 1k, however the parts i picked on pcpartpicker came to aout 1.5k so i was wondering what changes i could make to my current build to reduce the price to about 1k (give or take) with out a huge preformance drop. also if you are looking for a a good begginer or intermidate gaming rig check my profile for the current specs of my pc as when i build this new pc i will be selling my current one. shoot me a price if you are interested.
also, i would like this pc to be geared toward gaming more than anything. i dont edit what so ever with the occasional photoshop here and there.

£1100 is more comfortable. If you need it to be 1k, I would suggest removing the SSD and adding that later.
I used a 7950 because there is a very small performance gap between the 7950 and 7970, when both cards are overclocked.
Win8 professional includes things like remote access, things you don't really need in the home. Standard version is cheaper and more appropriate.
8320, you can clock this thing up to the performance of a 8350 quite easily with the selected CPU cooler. H100 and other CLCs are horribly priced. They're either beaten by air coolers with a similar cost, or they are priced too close to custom watercooling kits.

This is what I came up with it will still overclock great and games really dont need the 2 extra core also faster memory a in my opinion better ssd and a 7870xt which is basicly a 7930 so a 7950 with like 2gb of ram is the best way to put it.

This 7950 can usually oc to 7970ghz speeds
The nic5 can overclock better than the xigmatek dark knight which is on par with the h100 and is half the price
That gigabyte motherboard is more reliable than asrock and can easily reach 4.7 on the 8350, this is the most I could cut the build while increasing overclocking cpu capability and slightky decreasing gpu power, the his 7950 can still reach stock 7970 speeds even if you get a terrible chip, so you can count on it reaching 7970ghz speed
Also windows 7 pro is cheaper than 8 pro
In addition the NZXT Tempest 410 is just as good as the phantom, it has an inch behind the motherboard, 280mm radiator support, over 6 fan mounts, great temperatures, and easy assembly, also you can get the nzxt grid too and shipping for under $60 on the nzxt site
the power supply is a tier 2, it is very high quality (higher than the corsair gaming), is 80 plus silver, modular, 700w, and only $60
Brennans power supply doesnt work
also the thermaltake nic 5 is the most powerful cooler under $75
and the his 7950 iceq will destroy any 7950 in average overclocking ability, they usually can reach 7970ghz speeds which is rare in almost any other 7950(except the asus maybe).
$1117 is what I have, and with overclocking you can get almost the same performance as your other build
I got it to 1200, but I can lower it if you need to
need it cheaper, drop the SSD and switch to this CPU combo

The psu wasnt listed in the price when opened
Revised http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1gNWu added wifi card
just go with the home edition its like 20 bucks cheaper and I don't think he's going to use more than 16GB of ram
