There seems to be a problem with KWin where the “desktop effects restart due to graphics reset”. I never had that problem on a laptop with Intel graphics, and only happens on my desktop with NVIDIA GPU. I’ve read that it’s probably because the GPU took a nap. Is there a way to prevent that?
I dont understand how could gpu go completely off unless its switching to igpu like laptop, or its some sleep thing

Just for the fucks I did search whats that thing about, and it seems to be ongoing Nvidia issue which comes and goes away with drivers, first report from 2014
