How to play old pc games that require disc on a pc with no disk drive?

I have Empire Earth 1 gold edition which game with the game and dlc disk and i cant play them on my pc because i do not have a  cd/dvd burner. how can i play empire earth and dlc on my main computer without a cd/dvd burner? i know of creating an iso for it and using a virtual cd burner type program to make my computer believe that the disc is running? idk can some explain it to me.

 

PS: can anyone send me some educational videos for starcraft 2 i just got starcraft 2 and need a little help learning it to enjoy it better.

Rip the disk to an .ISO file with ImgBurn.

Then mount it on your computer with WinCDEmu.

I use PowerISO myself to handle tasks like these but the above is the way to go basically.

I use Daemon Tools, the easiest for me :)

I rip the game files onto a pen drive, run the game installer and then look for a no-CD patch. Even though I have a disc drive on my laptop, it's still nice to not need it. Also makes gaming a nicer experience because HDDs don't sit there spinning and buzzing and making your entire machine vibrate like, well, a vibrating, uhh, thing...
