I do have a Windows & laptop but it did not come with a windows 7 disc. I whant a way to get windows 7 wich is safe reliable and free if you know any thing about this post in the comment section to help other people like me thank you.
You can get legit ISOs of a variety of Windows 7 versions here, http://www.mydigitallife.info/official-windows-7-sp1-iso-from-digital-river/. Keep in mind that you can install it without a serial but it will expire after 30 days. You can extend it up to a total of 180 days I think or you can just reformat and install the 30 day trial again.
Reinstalling Windows every so often isn't so bad if you keep majority of your files on an external hard drive. That, or you could just install Linux if you don't mind not having a lot of Windows exclusive games/software.
You could do a factory reset of your Laptop, back up windows 7 and install it on your new PC and then use the code on your laptop?

Just get any unadulturated copy from any site, like a bittorrent site, and use the key that usually comes on the bottom of your laptop on a little sticker that says Windows 7 Activation, or maybe Windows 7 Serial. The OS itself isn't illegal to redistribute, but the key is. Also hacking the software for the development of a keygen, or key generating algorithm is also illegal. But most copies of Windows 7 keys may be used for multiple installations, usually 3. But this also depends on the version of Windows and how much of a dick Microsoft feels like being.
Alternately, you could create a recovery/restore disc from your laptop and install that to the new desktop. You can also look up how to create a boot disc and install a system image from your laptop to your desktop. But the first option is probably easier.
