I have a clip in Premiere Pro, but it's rather long and wouldn't be suitable for presentation, however, all of the content is necessary and I can't scrap any footage. What I'm wanting to do is split the film into three parts, each in separately rendered files that way each clip can be edited separately and can be uploaded separately.
Doesn't premier let you select only a certain part of the video track for rendering?
Otherwise just make 3 project files and cut up the video to where you need it with each, might have to be exact with the frames or whatever, but you should be able to render parts straight up just cut and select.
Don't bother rendering out 3 separate clips first though, that'd just be a waste of time.
You can use the 'In' and 'Out' function to just export a specific area. On the main timeline use the I key and O key to set your in and out points. After that you can just export as usual.
you could also nest the main sequence inside another, then trim the nested squence to the length of that part, then render that. But using in and out points is the way to go.
So basically there are several ways so skin a cat as they say. It really comes down to personal preference.
@Buckwhal 's technique would save render time if you didn't intend on having 3 separate files at the end. In my experience its always better to keep things nested within projects, it allows for more versatility and saves space and time.
Sorry I'm so late to the punch, I was up till six editing this overrated fluff. I ended up just making a copy of the video and editing the first one and cutting out the unneeded portion.
Here is the stuff you'll most likely not like, but I'm proud of it.
I probably don't need to say it but 1080p 60fps if you want the intended experience.
